Purrsist – Privacy Policy

Short version: Viken Tech AS collects nothing.

Purrsist has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in the App (your pet, focus sessions, goals, exams, habits, the diary, photos and settings) is stored only on your device, in the App's own storage. Deleting the App deletes it. iOS may include it in your own iCloud or computer backups of the device.

Photos

If you add a photo of your own pet, it is processed on your device to cut out the pet and is stored only on your device. Photos never leave your iPhone. The App only sees the photos you pick.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App reads your sleep, exercise minutes and step count to check off healthy habits. This data is read on your device only. It is never written back, stored elsewhere, shared, or used for advertising. You can turn off access at any time in the Health app.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device. You can turn them off in the App or in iOS Settings.

What Viken Tech receives

Nothing. We operate no servers for the App. The App contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, crash reporting or third-party SDKs. We only receive the aggregated, anonymous statistics Apple provides for every App Store app.

Children

The App collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. Everything the App stores is on your device and under your control.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always available at viken.tech/purrsist/privacy.
